What to Expect From a Reading
A reading with me will be positive, heartfelt, and centered around connection, guidance, and growth. At the beginning of a session, I will invite you to relax and open your mind and heart to the messages you are about to receive from Spirit. Being in a relaxed and open state allows the messages from Spirit to flow and be received more easily. For your remote reading, I recommend setting up a soothing environment for yourself. Light a candle. Brew a cup of tea. Grab a warm blanket and get comfortable. Spirit wishes for you to relax during your reading. They do not wish for you to be afraid or anxious, and they will only give messages that you are ready to receive--messages centered around healing, inspiration, encouragement, comfort, loving guidance, insights, and empowerment. And I must add, that the experience can be equally healing, uplifting, and validating for them as well.
When I engage in a reading for someone, the messages I deliver don't come from me. Spirit is the source of them. I am a medium in service to Spirit. We work together to convey messages from Spirit that are meant for the person to receive, and each reading is a unique experience. The messages come from higher places of loving energy, healing, good intention, and wisdom. I channel the messages in multiple extrasensory ways. I'm not exactly sure how it all works, but it happens. My dominant ways of experiencing the messages are by hearing Spirit's words as if they are actually speaking and through telepathic communication where I sense their thoughts, feelings, and ideas without them actually speaking. I often can hear the tone of voice they wish to project for validation's sake (for instance, if they had a raspy smoker's voice in life). Spirit will also send me visions or impressions. Sometimes those things are accompanied by feeling emotions and bodily sensations (I've felt nausea when a spirit wished to describe a physical ailment they had in life, and I've felt heat and started to sweat from the energy of a vibrant, fiery soul) and occasionally they can be accompanied by the perception of scent (I've smelled things like perfume, flowers, cigar/cigarette smoke, and even a juicy grilled cheeseburger). I can channel mannerisms, but the spirit is careful to ask me first. I'm a musician who is highly auditorily-sensitive, and that is why I believe the messages from Spirit come through strongly and comfortably for me in that mode.
You may be expecting a particular loved one who has crossed over to come through in the session. They may indeed come through, but you should also be open to receiving messages from other loved ones and spirit guides that you may not have expected to communicate. Your soul family always has your best interests at heart, and their aim is to deliver messages that will help heal and guide you on your soul's journey. These messages may resonate with you immediately, or at a later time after the session. In addition to receiving your own messages from Spirit, you may also receive messages that you are meant to convey to another person in your life.
Different types of souls can come through in a reading. You may receive messages from a deceased loved one from this life who has transitioned back to the Spirit World, a soul you knew from another lifetime who was not with you in this lifetime, or a spirit that you have only spent time with in the Spirit World. The special thing they have in common is that they are all a part of your soul family.
Prior to receiving the blossoming gift of spirit mediumship, I enjoyed the use of divination tools and practices to help me connect with the other side. I do have quite the collection that I love (from a treasured antique scrying bowl, to crystals, artful tarot decks, runes, and oracle cards) and I am still very much a fan of channeled writing. Although I no longer need the assistance of these tools because now I'm actually serving as the tool/medium/vessel, I do still enjoy using some of them and find that they can be wonderful ways to enrich and support a reading. That being said, I may choose to weave in the use of tarot as part of your reading if I feel it enhances the messages from Spirit. I may also draw an oracle card or two for you, or recommend a crystal you may wish to work with. Use of these tools would be guided by Spirit's energy.
